This house has an amazing garden with a heated pool and a view over a beautiful valley. It’s a 30min drive from our home so I can tell you that the surroundings are perfect for any nature and hike lover 🙂 If you like to explore some more off-the-beaten-track places of Portugal like the natural park Serra de Aire e Candeeiros, this is a great base! Villas de Aire is close to Fátima, Leiria and Batalha. The house is suitable for 2 to 6 people and the sweet hosts make sure you’ll have everything you wish for!

Quinta do Areal

Quinta do Areal, an enchanting getaway, where tranquility and nature blend seamlessly. You will stay in a private house  or one of the apartments with its own kitchen. Surrounded by majestic mountains and endless hiking trails, this idyllic location offers a haven of serenity. Amidst trees, crops, and animals, this place exudes peace. Indulge in the refreshing pool, the warming hot tub, invigorating yoga classes, and the opportunity to rent bicycles and explore the surroundings. Additionally, Quinta do Areal regularly hosts inspiring and enriching events and retreats. We personally experienced the culinary vegan retreat and had an absolutely amazing weekend!

Noah Surf House Hotel

We loved the concept of this hotel! We stayed in one of their super nice kind of tiny houses with a sea view! Although the name is “surfhouse”, even if you don’t surf (like us) it is highly recommended. During your stay, there are a lot of facilities included, like yoga/sports lessons, bike usage, and workshops. The breakfast is outstanding and original and the staff is very friendly and helpful!

Casa Simplicity

Our favorite in the Silver Coast region. Christel and Thomas make sure you won’t be short of anything! They help you with your plans and make the tastiest, original breakfasts, taking into account your preferences. The ideal base to discover Óbidos, Lagoa de Óbidos, Caldas da Rainha and São Martinho do Porto from. Mercearia D’Alegria B&B

You will find this gem in the middle of the pleasant coastal town of Peniche, at the Silver Coast. The B&B has an ideal location if you want to get to know this city better and visit the beautiful surf beaches, the island das Berlengas and the other nice places along this beautiful coastline. They rent bicycles so you can cycle along Peniche’s coastline which is amazing! The rooms of Mercearia d’alegria are nice and clean, and the breakfast is very good. They make sure it all meets your wishes.

Vila Rodrigues

Right in the heart of Lisbon, just one street away from the crowdedness, there is this calming ‘vila’ called Vila Rodrigues, which provides you with a cozy, tranquil and comfortable stay in style during your trip to the beautiful capital of Portugal.
The owners and design duo Francesca and Sam did a great job by restoring and refurbishing this place into this beautiful new boutique accommodation. It just breathes calmness with the natural details and colours. Perfect to come home to after a long day in this vibrant city.

LR Guest House

Right in the centre of Lisbon, there is this lovely Guesthouse. We loved our stay here. The rooms were beautiful, the bed was super comfortable and there was enough isolation to get a good sleep, which is important to me (although staring at the beautiful ceiling would’nt be bad either).
The best thing about this place was the staff and their hospitality! Diogo, Milena and Mariana were amazing hosts and made us feel at home right away. The breakfast is delicious and includes freshly baked goodies every day.
Oh and did I mention the free drinks and freshly baked snacks they provide you all day long?

Villa Epicurea

Close to Sesimbra, in the middle of nature, within walking distance of the beach, you will find Villa Epicurea. A beautiful pearl in the district of Setúbal to relax and at the same time enjoy the forests, mountains, beaches, dunes, cliffs, and cities in this beautiful region. Villa Epicurea represents a perfect balance between simplicity and comfort. They think for hapiness, it is important to take good care of body and mind. And they convey this to their guests very well (e.g. organic pool, organic breakfast, natural cleaning products, 100% natural bed linen)

Casa Idalia

Casa Idalia is a new, very nice B&B, right in the center of the unique city of Comporta. The atmosphere is great and the rooms are super comfortable. Lou and Charlie (French/Portuguese) are great hosts. We rented their bikes for a ride through the rice fields, really enjoyed the breakfast with pasteis de nata, home made granola and more, did a beautiful morning run to the beach, enjoyed the pool, and saw a lot of the area, thanks to their tips 🙂

São Brás do Regedouro

São Brás do Regedouro is an accommodation in the village of the same name in the heart of Alentejo, near Évora. They remodeled 15 old houses of this village and turned them into an accommodation. This way the village became more beautiful and they even create jobs for the inhabitants. So now here, you can experience the true Portuguese, Alentejano countryside life while enjoying the hospitality, comfort, and atmosphere of a holiday.

We loved the atmosphere, the breakfast basket (which you can adapt to your wishes by sending a whatsapp), the concept and the nice swimming pool area with nice music, snacks, drinks and olive trees.

Casa Nook

Recently, this house was a complete ruin. They have renovated the house impressivly beautifully. Secretly we now also dream of buying up a ruin in a beautiful place to transform it into such a beautiful place like Casa Nook! The stay was great. The atmosphere in the house is great! You share the living room and kitchen with the other guests. There is a nice surfy atmosphere (thanks to the beautiful surfing beaches in the area). The area is breathtaking in terms of nature, including the beaches on this west coast. We fell in love with this area, thanks in part to casa nook. They serve nice breakfast with the possibility of making your own eggs.

Kasa d’Vizin

This is definitely a great base for your adventures on the island of Santo Antão in Cape Verde! We truly couldn’t get enough of this view during the days we stayed here. The people are very nice, the atmosphere is great, and the location is perfect! The valley of Paúl is breathtaking and perfect to explore. The breakfast is very good with some fresh baked/made options and there’s also an option to have lunch and dinner at the hotel. Although the food is vegan, it’s just very tasty so also for the non vegans it’s great! There are also several restaurants within walking/taxi distance.

Kira’s Boutique Hotel

Colorful Kira’s hotel is right in the center of the capital os São Vicente; Mindelo. And we loved it! The location is perfect; not far away from some very nice restaurants and cafes, and also close to the city beach Praia da Laginha. The people are super friendly and it’s all very very clean. We enjoyed their breakfast on their cozy patio, including the local dish catchupa, rich omelette, home made yogurt, tropical fruits, very nice fresh bread, local cheese and more. Definitely a recommendation for your trip to São Vicente!
